The Fishing Industry around Fleetwood

The Lancashire town of Fleetwood was once the third largest fishing port in the country. This fascinating amateur colour reel goes to sea with the trawlermen, and documents the onshore work underpinning the industry, from shipbuilding to net weaving and lobster pot making. The film is both a valuable record and a celebration of community from the days when Fleetwood was truly a fishing town.
