Ingoldisthorpe Village Fete

At a Norfolk country house Ingoldisthorpe villagers enjoy a fancy dress costumed garden party and tea dance at the annual Summer Fete, in 1938.

In 1938, the Norfolk villagers of Ingoldisthorpe gather for the annual summer fete. The children of the village spend the day in costume, and there features Snow White (Disney's first feature animation appeared on screen in the previous year), Little Bo Peep, and a rather grumpy Circus Ringmaster. The outdoor event is hosted at a very grand country house that provides ample lawn space perfect for the grown-ups to enjoy a tea dance, and the children to have pony rides.
