Women's Cricket in Hove

High up on the Downs above Hove a women's cricket team enjoy a match, a chat and even a quick smoke while a dog makes off with a handbag

This film captures a women's cricket team playing a match up on the Downs above Hove. Despite the sunshine many of the women and spectators are wrapped up against the cold. Those not on the pitch sit about with their many dogs and chat while they wait for their innings. The game seems more relaxed but it's taken seriously as the scoreboard shows. Towards the end of the day a dog makes off with a team member's handbag to the amusement of all.
