Sussex takes on the West Indies and other teams, in this fascinating film from 1963. We begin with cricket action at the county ground in Hove. Slow-motion filming captures bowling and fielding. The touring West Indies Cricket team arrives to play Sussex. After a pitch inspection by both captains the players emerge from the pavilion and an exciting day of cricket action begins. Two further Sussex matches are seen - all before large crowds of appreciative spectators.
