Villages are not just picture postcards – they are real communities with real issues. TV report on the DIY community action in East Anglia.

The local shop or primary school, a regular bus service; all contribute to providing a sense of community for villagers. However, at the time of an economic recession, cutbacks in public spending often mean closures. This ‘Anglia Reports' episode takes a look at some of the community projects that loyal and dedicated villagers in rural parts of Norfolk and Suffolk have established to tackle the problems that cutbacks have forced upon them.
