Leominster Carnival and Gymkhana

Filmmaker Frank Dale not only captured this record of the 1954 Leominster Carnival and Gymkhana, he also provided the lorry that transported the carnival queen. The event even took place on land next door to his construction business (his towering stacks of building wood provide a precarious backdrop). And Mrs Dale is on hand for speeches and prize giving. From people dressed as rustic yokels to the marching bands the main event is the locally popular horse display.
