Derek Phillips was a prolific amateur animator who self-distributed his short animated aphorisms. Each film explored a different design or method, but all share his caustic but humorous perspective on life.

Animation on the body and the battle between microbes and antibodies. The film begins by entering the mouth of a sturdy young soldier, the camera travelling down the throat to witness a 'battle' between red and green opponents. The ferocity of the battle weakens as the ageing process undermines the body. The film ends with a bent old soldier hobbling away.
