Hanwell Carnival

Believed to be one of the oldest running Carnivals in London, Hanwell Carnival was first initiated in 1898 in order to raise funds for the Cottage Hospital, now Ealing Hospital. The location of the carnival varied throughout the year, made up of local community groups, here starting off at the Cuckoo estate and coming down Greenford Avenue, finishing at Elthorne Park, where there's fun and games as well as an opportunity to win a Mini.
