Cardiff Royal Infirmary - Please Give Generously

Nothing but Langdon's Grade A Milk, from cows “milked by machinery” at Pentrebane Farm, St Fagan's, is given to patients at the CRI.

What is offered here is believed to be just the second reel of a production to publicise the hospital's 1937 Centenary Appeal. A new building was planned but came to nothing with the outbreak of war in 1939. The production of good quality milk for patients – Langdon's Grade A milk from Pentrebane Farm, St Fagan's (the cows “milked by machinery”) – is given much attention and the use of labour-saving devices in other areas of the hospital is demonstrated.
