Light bulbs, television tubes and nuclear power stations: electrifying the world with AEI.

From weapons systems to animal husbandry, from radiotherapy to railway signal boxes, AEI products had a huge range of applications. This promotional film for Associated Electrical Industries Ltd - "Britain's largest single manufacturer of electrical equipment of all kinds" shows how the company addressed the rapidly rising, and seemingly insatiable, demand for electricity at home and abroad.

Shows the work of the 50 factories of the A.E.I. group, Britain's largest electrical manufacturer.
