Cricketing legend Colin “Ollie” Milburn offers match predictions ahead of the Benson & Hedges Cup Final 1980 between Essex and Northants.

Ahead of the Benson & Hedges Cup Final (July 1980) between Essex County Cricket Club and Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, Gerry Harrison for Anglia Television interviews sports personality and Cricketing great, Colin “Ollie” Milburn, to find out his match final predictions.

Sports reporter Harrison catches up with Milburn at Butlins Holiday Camp where Milburn is coaching children. Of course, ex-Northants player Milburn is confident that the Northants team will be the better players on the day, despite Essex winning the Cup in the previous year. In fact, Ollie's predictions are spot-on, as Northants did indeed achieve a victory, winning by 6 runs.Anglia TV's sports reporter Gerry Harrison also speaks with Northamptonshire cricketers Peter Willey and Allan Lamb, and we see action from Essex team players Graham Gooch and Ken McKewan.
