Silver Jubilee celebrations in Stepney, London to mark the 25 year reign of
HM George V and Queen Mary.



"Ben Hur presents 1935 SILVER JUBILEE". Streets decorated with flags and
bunting including Elsa Street and the Old Road Market. Queues of children
entering a cinema. Dancing in Eastfield Street introduced by Minnie Holland and
Norma Cecil and partner. A man in drag (a wedding dress) dances exuberantly.
Brief shot of Duckett Street. The Hudson Sisters dance the hornpipe in Market
Street, Durham Row. Uncle Bill and partners dance the `Cracknell Dance'. Men
having a knees-up in the street. The children leaving the theatre being given
bags of fruit by Mrs Ben Hur.
