Making of Kent

Prince Charles himself stars in this fascinating documentary about the architectural character of Kent - as expressed through its buildings

This professionally made documentary shows how geology and history have shaped the look of Kent's towns and villages. Using maps and diagrams Kent's geology is explained as we visit various towns and villages where locally sourced materials were used in their construction. Modern structures, sitting cheek-by-jowl with historic buildings, are also shown. Finally Prince Charles discusses the importance of conservation with master bricklayer, Jack Morley.
