We wander to Bentalls, scorn bingo halls, lament the empty Empire Theatre, as well as hang around the Kingston's historic market, which, as the commentator notes, is protected by a famous charter granted by Charles I who, in 1628, gave Kingston the right to ban other markets within 7 miles.
