As part of the University of East Anglia, we continue to lead moving image heritage research and inspire audience participation through community projects and events. Our collections represent a broad range of amateur and professional creativity, from 1896 to the present day.

National Schools Sailing Regatta

At the National Schools' Sailing Regatta, held at Brancaster in 1966, July 24th to 28th, contestants arrive at the Sailing Club. At Brancaster Staithe Harbour the contestants prepare for the event. The tide comes up and sailing is underway! Dr. Lincoln Ralphs, the Chief Education Officer of Norfolk and the President of the National Schools' Sailing Association, presents the prizes at Alderman Peel Secondary School.
