Cubbington School Celebrations (ATV Today)

At Cubbington the maypole takes centre stage as children celebrate the 200th anniversary of their village school.

With flower garlands for the girls and caps, boots and neckerchiefs for the boys the children of Cubbington village school in Warwickshire turn back the clock to 1780 to mark the 200th anniversary of their school. Anne Diamond watches proceedings, which include that rural English favourite: the maypole.
