My Holiday Blackpool 1939

War is looming, but when filmmaker Walter Lynn of Warrington Cine Society records his trip to the seaside, he finds life going on as normal. Donkeys trot along the beaches, hardy souls brave the waves, and the Pleasure Beach is as popular as ever. Mr Lynn completes his film with the launch of the new Fleetwood lifeboat 'Ann Letitia Russell', which, unsurprisingly, draws a crowd of eager onlookers.
