Sports Day at the De La Salle School in Cardiff and the white trousers (not part of the everyday uniform for the boys aged 5-11) are pressed and worn for the parade, together with the green blazers and caps trimmed with gold. Flags (Union, Welsh and Vatican) are carried and races run – see the Dads competing with their sons riding piggy-back. The Dads also enjoy a Sea Scout fishing trip, when an elegant paddle steamer and the 'Breaksea' lightship at Rhoose Point are sighted.
