Behind the Scene

We start by seeing an actor in a Wehrmacht uniform walking down a leafy lane. He chats to girls in Dutch national dress while the film crew take photographs. After giving a mock Nazi salute the 'German', wearing a Russian type helmet, is seen on sentry duty and arresting a British soldier at gunpoint. Another group of British soldiers patrol along the road while the 'Dutch' children wave flags and orange bunting. We then see an accordion band while the children jump about.
