The film opens with a rapid survey of the early history of Cornwall, tracing
its effect on the language of the country; typical examples of Cornish
architecture are shown, and also St. Michael's Mount once both fortress and an
ecclesiastical foundation. Brief glimpses are given of Cornwall's chief
industries, tin and clay. Many of the beauty spots of the area are also shown.
