Hepworth Sculpture Arrives at Bolton Museum

Art on the move - behind the scenes at Bolton Museum.

Two Forms (Divided Circle) is one of Barbara Hepworth's later works. In 1970, Bolton Museum purchased one of the seven bronze copies cast of this striking sculpture, and this unusual film records museum staff patiently manoeuvring the artwork through the galleries, while curious visitors look on. Finally installed in position, the sculpture can be viewed and admired from all angles.

Two Forms (Divided Circle) is a work by Barbara Hepworth © Bowness. The sculpture is now on display at the University of Bolton.
