The Strange Case of Penny Allison


There is a serious risk of human error in the checking, documentation and administration of blood treatments to patients in hospitals. This training programme illustrates the most common errors which can cause death from blood transfusion. It consists of a short comedy, in which the lead actors play mulitple parts, illustrating how the main types of error may occur, and emphasises the range of staff involved in the transfusion process.
