Biography of a Blind Man

About to leave school, Michael Price of Varteg lost his sight in a gun accident. This film traces his subsequent life which, as his voiced-over comments indicate, panned out not so very differently from the life he would have had anyway. Rather than becoming a miner like his brothers he found work at engineering factories in Cwmafon (Howards and Girlings). His great regret is never having seen the faces of his wife and son, both of whom feature in beautiful family footage.
