Do You Know Your Sussex?

Enjoy a whirlwind trip around Sussex in this nostalgic film from the 1950s - featuring the coast, the South Downs, dozens of villages, towns and even a city.

This amazing film whizzes around the entire county of Sussex, ranging from coastal cliffs to the heights of the South Downs. It also calls at a large number of villages and towns throughout the county, starting at Brighton's Volks Railway and ending at a Donkey Derby at Wivelsfield Green. Of particular interest are the village scenes, many of which have hardly changed since this film was made, though others have been altered by modern redevelopment.
