Falsely Murdered

Nail-biting amateur thriller in Pinner tells the story of a suspicious husband who may not have got the right man.

Award-winning amateur director Ronald English made this suspenseful thriller, which, as the opening title states, was specially commended by the Amateur Cine World magazine. This speaks to the quality of the filmmaking, for AWS only followed leading amateur filmmakers, many of whom, including docudrama pioneer Peter Watkins, went on to become highly regarded professional filmmakers themselves. Made by the Pinner Cine Society.
