Conway Capers

A young boy – played by David Mawby, son of the film-maker – goes fishing off Conwy’s harbour wall and is bemused, at first, by what he catches! This comic drama was shot by Alfred Mawby (b.1918) of Llanrwst who was an early member of Colwyn Cine Club and later a founder member of the Grwst Cine Club. [NB: Conwy was once anglicized as 'Conway'.]
