Falmouth Post-War Holiday

Holidaying during the war seemed rather unpatriotic as it didn't particularly help the war effort. By August 1946, families with the means to do so set off for the coast, world peace had been restored and a new era was dawning. Women had found new freedoms and life would never been the same again even though many of their jobs were given over to the returning men.
