"Take this mother - she doesn't look like a poisoner - but she is!" Dangers lurk in every corner of the medicine cabinet, cleaning cupboard and garden shed in this colourful 1960s domestic safety film. With its shades of Hitchcock and a filmic accolade from the British Medical Association, the film is an unusual - and unusually effective - contribution to the lesser-known genre of the local authority funded public information film.

bleach and gas, emphasising the risk to children and elderly people. It
describes the various means of prevention, including a new safe design for a
safe bathroom cabinet and illustrates how children's tendency to imitate adult
behaviour can result in accidents.
