Winter Holiday
Cinema advert for Butlin's holidays. (With BBFC certificate which gives the
title "Winter Holiday (Butlin's No. 2)") Film starts with the image of a
window looking out to a rainy sky, camera pans across to a large man who
sneezes. On the soundtrack "When the rain pours down the window and the winter
wind blows..." then the man "you get a cold", cut to a lady reading in a
chair "you get bored", then to another lady on the phone "you get irritable",
and then cut to a man at a desk "and you lose interest in your work". The film
then follows this man 'you need a tonic, you need to go to Butlin's new Ocean
Hotel at Brighton' as he does just that. Advertising the hotels features-
games on the suntrap rooftops, horse-riding, central heating, billiards, TV
room, cocktail bars and dancing every evening. Gives the address to write for
