The collection charts the rise of screen culture in the region and the nation and captures many aspects of life, work and creativity in the South East from the late 19th century to the present day. It is available for research, screenings, creative re-use and commercial access.

This holiday film starts with the Diamonds boarding an East Kent coach. Arriving in Eastbourne, we see the pier and a beach packed with holiday makers - many sitting in deckchairs. After taking photos of the beach, Roger and Gillian walk with Mum and Grandma along the promenade and buy lollies at a stall. They are next seen walking around the model village before the film ends with Grace and Gillian sitting in deckchairs.
