Traction Engine Rally

Traction engines go into battle in a bizarre game of steam-powered polo at a North London country fair.

A beautifully-shot amateur film produced by members of the Pinner Cine Society captures all the fun of the local country fair. Alongside traditional carousel and fairground rides there is the rather more bizarre contest of traction engine polo. Featuring oversized mallets and some slapstick antics, this steam-powered game highlights the eccentric side of British rural life.
