Out with the Fishermen
Documentary. Two boys spend a day with the fishermen at sea. The events are recalled by one of the boys. Shots of the fishermen at work: they "splice" the rope and prepare to "shoot" the net into the water. A rope, floats and flags are put out first, followed by the actual net and another long rope at the end. Both ropes are towed, making the net into a big bag which is hauled in by the winch. The floats and flags are being picked up and the catch is inspected. After having had a small catch on one fishing ground, the boat is turning to another destination, being navigated by one of the boys. The fishermen continue their work all day long, before delivering their catch at a nearby port.
