Hawarden Village

Views of Hawarden. Not a bad place to live as confirmed by its appearance on The Sunday Time's annual Best Places to Live List in 2014.

Views of Hawarden, Flintshire, childhood home of footballer Michael Owen (b.1979) and home to the adult William Gladstone (1809-98), Liberal prime minister of Britain four times over. Gladstone lived at Hawarden Castle, the family home of his wife Catherine Glynne, and bequeathed his extensive library to the village. Not a bad place to live, apparently, as it appeared on The Sunday Time's annual Best Places to Live List in 2014.
