Youth Competition at Sherborne Cricket Club

A youth competition showcases young talent at Sherborne

The National Cricket Association (NCA) sponsors a national cricket competition for the under 13 age group at Sherborne Cricket Club. In the 1980s youth development of cricketers became an important part of bringing on young talented cricketers.

Created in 1997, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is the governing body of cricket and combined the previously separate roles of the Test and County Cricket Board and the National Cricket Association. The ECB is a full member of the International Cricket Council which is based in Dubai.
