Eisteddfod Proclamation

Caerwys, Flintshire, wakes to 1967 Proclamation Day festivities which anticipate the town’s Eisteddfod the following year. 1968’s gathering will be a celebration of 400 years of local eisteddfodau. Today, Bob’s Coffee Bar stands ready to receive the crowds once the ceremonial business is over. Len Foreman (a recent film school graduate) produced this film for his mother-in-law, Alice Catherine [Kitty] Idwal Jones, one of the Eisteddfod organisers.
