A Day at the Royal Norfolk Show 1969

A very excitable poodle and a rather laid back pug enter the ‘best in show' dog competition at the Royal Norfolk Show in 1969.

Amateur recording of the 1969 Royal Norfolk Show, the largest agricultural show in the East of England. An important feature of this three-day agricultural event is the showing of livestock – heavy horses, cows, pigs, goats, sheep – the finest looking specimens for judging. The 1969 program also features showjumping, trade stands, a ‘best in show' comp for dogs, a military horse parade and marching band in the main ring, and a most impressive gymnasts display.
