A south Norfolk village comes alive with a colourful carnival procession of floats. Recorded in 1975 by Clacton Cine Club member Pauline Webb.

Amateur filmmaker and Pulham Market resident Pauline Webb captures the 1975 village carnival. An annual event, held in mid-September, the local clubs, businesses, and individuals, come together to celebrate their community. The colourful carnival procession of floats and costumed entrants parade around the village starting from the playing field and ending at the Green, where the floats are judged.

The year's entrants, on the theme of 'countries', include the local Horticultural Society representing Japan, primary school children dressed as Cowboys and Indians to represent North America, and Pulham Badminton Club showcasing the steel drum and wearing cricket player whites to represent the West Indies. Pauline Webb recorded the same event in the following year, which had the theme 'Shows of Screen & Stage'.
