The Box
Established in 1992, the South West Film & Television Archive collection spans from 1893 to the present day containing more than 250,000 items. Formed from a variety of depositors, including broadcast news and programmes material from the Westward and TSW archive. In 2018 the archive collection transferred to The Box in Plymouth.

Preparations for the Centenary of the City of Truro

Westward TV Reporter Del Cooper visits Truro to find out about preparations for Truro's centenary. The Chairman of the Truro Town Council, Rowan Williams and Truro's Bishop, Graham Leonard explain what the celebrations mean to them and the city. Truro started as a port and grew into a stannary town for the mining industry in the early 12th Century. Queen Victoria granted Truro City status in 1877 the year after it gained its first bishop.
