Sledging at Cromer Lighthouse

Often referred to as the ‘Gem of the Norfolk Coast’, the town of Cromer lies on the north east coast of the county of Norfolk, around twenty-three miles from the city of Norwich. Tourism is a major economy in the town, and fishing as ‘Cromer Crab’ is a local delicacy. The town boasts a Victorian pier which was significantly damaged during a storm surge on December 5th, 2013. The lighthouse is 18 metres tall and the light has a range of 39 kilometres.
