Tram Ride from Port Soderick to Douglas Head (1902)

A panoramic voyage along the breathtaking Isle of Man coast.

This 'phantom' tram ride takes us along a scenic, if at times hair-raising, section of the precipitous Marine Drive line from Douglas to Port Soderick. The picturesque route takes in the Victorian Toll Gate, Wallberry Viaduct and the magnificent Douglas Bay. The Isle of Man was a fashionable holiday destination at the time, boasting over 100 hotels and attracting some 300,000 seasonal visitors.
