Dr John Glyn Jones, a Brynsiencyn GP, and Dr Mair Jones (nee Humphreys), Assistant Medical Officer for Anglesey County Council, have become parents with the arrival of Annes at St David's Hospital, Bangor, 22/2/1952. As was the custom, on being taken home the new baby is carried off the hospital premises by a nurse. Before long there is another baby in the family: Annes visits her cousin – Haf Humphreys – born at Denbigh Infirmary 22/7/1954 and gives her a kiss of welcome.
