Haunted Pub (ATV Today)

Will the 'cold, clammy hands' of Five to Four Fred, Newton Burgoland's celebrated ghost, send shivers down Denise's spine?

In one of the least scary paranormal hunts on record, ATV Today's Gwyn Richards visits the Belper Arms at Newton Burgoland in Leicestershire following reports of creepy goings on amongst the beer pumps. The ancient inn has a resident ghost called 'Five to Four Fred', a name derived from his very precise time keeping. Fred's Benny Hill style hauntings should have led to him being barred long ago with male and female customers getting a very different ghostly experience.

The Belper Arms at Newton Burgoland is reputed to be the oldest surviving pub in Leicestershire with a history going back to 1290 (although not quite the early twelfth century, as reported by Gwyn Richards).
