The East Anglian Film Archive, the UK's first regional film archive, offers a unique record of the East of England's social and cultural history. As part of the University of East Anglia, we continue to lead moving image heritage research and inspire audience participation through community projects and events. Our collections represent a broad range of amateur and professional creativity, from 1896 to the present day.

Sailing A'hoy

A joint production by members of the Clacton Cine Club, Sailing A’hoy is a record of activity at Clacton-on-Sea Sailing Club captured on Super 8 colour film. The Sailing Club is situated within the Holland-on-Sea Country Park, which facing south, makes for excellent sailing conditions, as evidenced in the film. Clacton Cine Club presented many films overs the years - recording local places, events, and people, making story films, and animation.
