A Practical Faith

United Reform Church minister Mike Taylor and his community in the notorious concrete crescents of Hulme in Manchester are the subject of this sympathetic film portrait. Engaging with the social problems of an inner city area brings many challenges, and we learn how the minister's strong faith spurs him on his pastoral work, attending to people's material as well as spiritual welfare.
