Bognor Gazette. London Ladies MCC at Bognor

London's leather-clad biker girls arrive at Bognor's seafront after a burn-up from the big city. After a quick re-fuel they're roaring off on the next leg of the journey.

This remarkable film captures a sporting event featuring members of the London Ladies Motor Cycle Club arriving at the Esplanade in Bognor Regis, in April 1927. Numerous riders come to a stop, wearing a variety of headgear, to the cheers of a number of spectators. The ladies then fill-up with fuel before roaring off on the next stage of their journey - their destination is Epsom.
