Plane and Boat Topical Budget 868-2

Boats and plane demonstrate their manoeuvrability in a display for crowds at Hendon

Although largely featuring footage of boats racing at speed around a series of obstacles on a lake in Hendon, this short film also shows a mock battle between a plane and a boat. The aircraft, a Moth, is flown by Captain Barnard, who attempts to a “boat” below him, with both craft swerving all over the place in a bid to outdo the other.
