Clee Hill (ATV Today)

Looking down over Shropshire, Dennis Crowther surveys the landscape from Clee Hill and regales us with local songs and tales.

What's up'th thee? Shropshire songwriter and poet Dennis Crowther spins some yarns and entertains reporter Peter Green on the accordion with tales of Clee Hill and its colourful inhabitants. It may only be thirty miles from Green's home town of Wellington in north Shropshire but Crowther's gifts with the local tongue leave him as baffled and entertained as any non-Salopian.

Life long Clee Hill resident Dennis Crowther continued to entertain with his stories, songs and poems until his death in 2008 at the age of 81.
