At Deane High School in Bolton, immigrant children (mainly Indian and Pakistani) with limited English spend time in a withdrawal group with a
language teacher. When starting normal lessons they are initially accompanied by their language teacher, and consultation between language teachers and subject teachers is continued on a regular basic. Intended for audiences professionally involved in education.
