Church of St Laurence, Upminster

St. Laurence’s Church was established by St Cedd in 653 AD. It is a Grade I listed building, and the tower (the oldest part of the church) dates back to the 12th century. The film is a precise tour of the church, both inside and out, with particular attention paid to the stain glass windows - the filmmaker notes one window bears the date 1630. The tour of the church is then followed by short trips to the nearby rectories.
