Norma's Birthday Party and Family Get-Together

Even in wartime, the fun goes on for the Hart family of Droylsden, and their friends, and dog.

Family and friends are to be treasured, particularly in wartime, and everyone looks to be having fun in this beautifully shot film. From the cheerful group at a young woman's birthday party to a more sedate family tea, and then a sing-along around a piano, filmmaker Ernest Hart - Norma's father - provides us with a delightful record of people enjoying each other's company in difficult times.
